On this tour, we look for works of art that characterize the cityscape and yet are often overlooked. Art not only adorns buildings, but also helps us to understand how the city was conceived, seen and built.
With a special focus on the architecture-related art of the GDR, we move with art historian Edouard Compere from the Marx-Engels-Forum towards Petriplatz, covering an arc of time from 1956 to the present day.
An event as part of the Month of Art in Architecture in the Mitte district of Berlin.
