Geistesblitze – der Science Slam über das Gehirn!

In the organizer's words:

Flashes of inspiration - the science slam about the brain!

Laugh until you cry, finally understand the incomprehensible and take home amazing neuro-knowledge - all this awaits the audience at the 10th anniversary of "Geistesblitze - the science slam about the brain"!

As the name suggests, this evening is all about the fascinating findings about the human brain and our nervous system. How does the brain become creative? How can we counteract diseases? What do swallowing and neurology have to do with each other? Answers to these and many other questions can be found here.

In a relaxed setting, young scientists take to the stage to show just how exciting science can be. In just ten minutes, they present the latest in their research in a creative, understandable and entertaining way. At the end, the audience applauds to decide who has given the best presentation.

The Geistesblitze Science Slam is an event organized by the German Neurological Society in cooperation with the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and Science & Stories GmbH (Science-Slam.com).

Proceeds from the event will go to the German Brain Foundation.
