Generationen verbinden. Generation 1975. Mit 14 ins neue Deutschland

Nine people from Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg, East and West Berlin talk about their memories of the period of German division, the fall of the Wall and life in a united Germany. They were 14 years old at the time of the fall of the Wall and therefore old enough to observe the world closely, and young enough not to be determined yet. What opportunities opened up for them and what familiar certainties were lost? How did their origins, influences and opportunities from East or West change their view of the new country? And how did these different starting points shape the rest of their lives?

In the video installation "Connecting generations. German-German perspectives on history", visitors stand face to face with the people portrayed. In a 55-minute themed film and in-depth individual interviews, they experience a multi-perspective, biographical narrative with opportunities, ruptures and losses of growing together.
