Georgie Fehringer writes and teaches poetic prose and creative nonfiction with black and queer themes, publishing in Black Warrior and the Chicago Review of Books, among others. A Seattle native who earned a master's degree from the University of Iowa's prestigious Writers Workshop, Georgie currently lives in Dortmund, Germany, and teaches American literature and culture at Dortmund University of Technology.
