He is fascinated by the depths of the human soul, the causes of a crime, the gap between truth, law and justice, and the use and misuse of language. He holds a 6th dan black belt in karate and criticizes the Western culture of narcissism. His books, which have sold millions of copies, have been translated into 28 languages.
