"The Future Is Cancelled" - or is it? Because the German indie rock quintet will finally be back on tour with new music in 2026.

After a year full of highlights, Giant Rooks are back with their new single "The Future Is Cancelled". A calm and reflective sound unfolds between delicate piano sounds and gentle vocals. A song that is both thoughtful and comforting and shows that Giant Rooks continue to boldly break new ground without forgetting their roots.

After the album "How Have You Been?", which was released in 2024 and charted straight to number 1, and the subsequent successful tour of the same name, the five retired from creative work in 2025. In September, the band played two exclusive headline shows in Germany: their completely sold-out homecoming concerts in their hometown of Hamm. There, Giant Rooks danced between melancholy and euphoria with a total of 20,000 fans, friends and family. Once again, they demonstrated their incredible energy - which now extends from the small Westphalian town to the entire globe.

Now Fred, Jonathan, Luca and the two Finns want to feel the tour air again and are returning to the halls and thus to the limelight on a total of 14 dates through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
