Ginger Bread House

Some call it RUBBISH! “They’re pulling this nonsense because they can!” (LVZ) or NONSENSE! “Pointless nonsense!” (LKZ), while others sit spellbound in front of it and say: What freedom!

Countess Stefanie Oberhoff, British performer Henry Sargeant (aka Mr. Vast), and the Leipzig theater adventurers Lehmann and Wenzel follow in the footsteps of Hansel and Gretel and venture together into the deep forest. No path in sight, the occasional crumb, and in the middle, the gingerbread house is taking shape. Until it’s finally finished, nothing is certain: not what will happen, not the performers’ interactions with one another, and not the audience’s safety from dental floss.

Exquisite puppetry, musical interludes, and a real choice between nonsense and madness from Super Group Reunion forteens and adults with strong nerves (ages 12 and up).
