GLASPERLENSPIEL, one of Germany’s most successful pop duos, is embarking on a new era that could be summed up as “Giga Party Vibes!”: Their fifth album is packed with catchy tracks and irresistibly danceable bangers that are just begging to be performed live in full-on, high-energy style. That’s exactly what Caro and Daniel have in mind: With style, flair, energy, and bass—plus a spectacular stage show— GLASPERLENSPIEL is hitting the road for their Club Tour 2027.

The album “GPS 26,” set for release in October 2026, should effortlessly follow in the footsteps of its predecessors: All GLASPERLENSPIEL albums have reached the top of the German charts and received gold and platinum certifications. Since the release of their breakthrough debut “Beweg dich mit mir,” the band has been an integral part of German pop music—and “Geiles Leben” from the album “Tag X” cemented their status as top stars: The hit is a modern classic, a staple at every party, and, with over a million sales and a Diamond Award, ranks among the country’s best-selling German singles.

A life in the public eye followed: From“DSDS” to“The Masked Singer,” Caro and Daniel received countless invitations thanks to their positive, likable personalities and found themselves at the center of attention from their massive fan community—and the music industry. “At some point, GLASPERLENSPIEL became bigger than we were ourselves. Instead of trusting our intuition, we increasingly lost sight of why we started this band in the first place: out of love for music. We desperately needed to get out of our comfort zone. So we just booked two flights to Seoul and went with the flow,” says Daniel , describing the effects of a creeping identity crisis.

The feeling while writing the new songs hit hard—and was just like it was before the mega-fame: “For the first time in a long time, making music felt easy and carefree again,” says Caro, “spontaneous hotel-room sessions, just Daniel, a piano, and me.” On “GPS 26,” GLASPERLENSPIEL channeled the new tracks created in this way into a danceable yet emotional mix of electro-pop, EDM, house, UK garage, dubstep, rap, and K-pop—songs like a journey through Seoul’s neon-lit, pulsating nightlife.
