Tone colors & contrasts - an evening with the string trio 3Cordes and bassoonist Federico Aluffi

An evening full of tonal colors, lively contrasts and musical surprises: Federico Aluffi, solo bassoonist with the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra, and the string trio 3Cordes invite you on a multifaceted journey through different stylistic worlds - always with the bassoon as the charismatic narrator at the center.

With works from France and the USA, the result is an evening full of tonal diversity, in which stylistic contrasts enter into dialog with each other and the extraordinary range of the bassoon can be experienced just as much as the fine expressive power of the string trio.
