On July 3, 2026, Berlin Global Village will open its doors for the fifth time: GLOBALE—the festival at Berlin Global Village—brings together theneighborhood, art and culture enthusiasts, and anyone interested in dialogue and global issues. 

Awide-ranging program awaits you,featuring plenty of hands-on activities for children and teens!

Also:
🎨 Screen printing workshop –Design your own jute bags, T-shirts, or stickers and learn the art of screen printing.
📸 Exhibition– “What Remains” features works by photographer Médine Tidou – a compelling photographic exploration of cultural identity, memory, and belonging
🎤 Stage program –Dance to live music and performances by amazing young artists
🎬 Film Program –Featuring films by young girls of color (MPower) as well as the documentary *Colonialism Made in Göttingen* 
🫱🏼‍🫲🏾Meet & Greet Booths – Getto know some of the organizations and initiatives in the Berlin Global Village and learn more about their diverse projects.
🗣️Opening ceremony with politicians from the House of Representatives: TamaraLüdke (SPD), Stefan Taschner (Alliance 90/The Greens), Tobias Schulze (The Left)

The festival is free and open to everyone! 

STAGE & FAMILY PROGRAM

Look forward to a diverse stage program from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. featuring artists who blend global club cultures, diasporic sounds, and electronic music.

Featuring: Fuega Mami with high-energy reggaeton & Latin club sounds, Hassan Elmalik with a unique blend of Sudanese traditions and global rhythms, KARTINI with her atmospheric ethereal bass pop, MARI.AMA, blending soul, pop, electronic music, and West African influences, as well as DJ Marshal, who’ll get everyone dancing with Afrotech and Afrohouse.

A special highlight: Girls on Beat*—a dance project for girls* from Neukölln that brings hip-hop, freestyle, and choreography to the stage in a collaborative performance.

There’s also plenty for families and children to discover from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: multilingual stories, creative workshops, games, VR experiences, craft stations, mask and button design, and a hands-on smoothie bike.

An afternoon and evening full of music, connections, creativity, and cultural diversity!
