KESHAVARA

Keshavara wear magnificent moustaches, bold headgear and speak an adventurous patois of English, Hindi, German and Gibberish. On their new album "III", the Cologne-based band led by German-Indian musician Keshav Purushotham create sounds the way other people mix drinks after they've already enjoyed three: Washed-out kraut-pop and diasporic dub-not-dub excursions are combined by eye and shaken wildly.

GOBLYN'S

A psych-groove instrumental trio you'll want to take home to meet your girlfriend's dad. Treat yourself to a Goblyns-led journey through time and space with this Berlin/Amsterdam marvel. When they were all still living in the sleepy Eastern Cape of South Africa, Goblyns was a fever dream for the youngsters, only brought to life years later when Frank Liam and Gio left for Europe. The new distance was nothing compared to the urge to finally make music together, and after the first meeting they knew this was something special.
