Under the title Goldrausch 2023 - on the edge of the 15 participants of the Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt show excerpts from their current production. On view are analog experimental film, video and sound installations, conceptual photography, painting, tapestries, performance, and sculpture.

In their works, the artists negotiate feminist perspectives on history and popular culture, changes in our environment in the age of the Anthropocene, multi-perspectival narratives of everyday rituals and economics. Conceptually, they explore media and content boundaries - edges - and reveal in-between spaces and transformation processes. Along theseedges, the artists' works invite reflection: On social or ecological changes, artistic genres and materials. In this way, the exhibition Goldrausch 2023 - on the edge of encourages us to question existing systems and to develop potentials for transformation.

The Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt is a one-year professionalization course that promotes outstanding artistic positions by women*.
