GOLIF x Hamburg 2026

On June 12, urban artist GOLIF, one of the most exciting up-and-coming artists from Austria, is coming to the Urbanshit Gallery with a solo exhibition. Many Hamburg residents are already familiar with the Viennese artist's art, as since last year one of his unmistakable figures in the form of a 200 square meter mural has been emblazoned on a prominent building wall in Altona, where it greets more than 20,000 Hamburg residents every day as they drive past. In addition to GOLIF's art in the Urbanshit Gallery, there is more art from numerous street artists to discover on free street art tours through Altona.

Under the title GOLIF x Hamburg 2026, the artworks of the well-known Austrian street artist GOLIF can be seen in an extensive solo exhibition of large-format canvas works in Hamburg. From June 12, 2026, the Viennese artist will once again be exhibiting his art at the Urbanshit Gallery in Hamburg's trendy Ottensen district, to which all Hamburg residents are invited (free admission). On display are selected and as yet unseen works by the Austrian artist, which captivate the viewer with their unique painting style and special colors.

The style of the artist GOLIF is memorable like no other. Using black paint on various mostly colored backgrounds, the Austrian-born artist paints expressive characters reminiscent of graphic novels with dynamic brushstrokes. The expression is mysterious and captivating at the same time - the figures mysterious and always originating from fiction.

More about the artist: In addition to large-scale murals in public spaces, the artist, who lives in Vienna and comes from Tyrol, paints on canvas and cardboard. He learned his artistic skills at an art school in Tyrol and subsequently studied art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. The artist now exhibits worldwide and has already taken his art to cities such as New York, Paris, Vienna and Strasbourg.

GOLIF is one of the most noteworthy up-and-coming artists from Austria and is just about to take a leap upwards in his artistic career. His unmistakable works can not only be seen on the walls of buildings in many cities around the world, but have already made it into museums and hang in many private collections. His unique art has attracted a great deal of attention, particularly in the international high-end architecture and interior design sector
