The cult film Good Time returns in a new, electrifying form.

For this special screening, composer and musician Matteo Myderwyk performs a live soundtrack to the Safdie Brothers' film and transforms the cinema into a pulsating, immersive concert space.

Good Time (2017) is a raw, nerve-wracking trip into the nocturnal abysses of New York. The film accompanies Connie Nikas on a desperate odyssey through a single night - driven by loyalty, fatal decisions and ever-increasing pressure. Neon light, claustrophobic spaces and a moral loss of control condense into an urban thriller of breathless intensity.

The Safdie Brothers' unmistakable signature - uncompromising realism, kinetic pace and constant tension - makes Good Time a modern classic, somewhere between intimacy and explosion.

Matteo Myderwyk's live score radically intensifies this intensity.

His performances are created in the moment: instinctive, physical and unpredictable. Between acoustic warmth and analog roughness, he shapes sound in real time, changing textures, tempos and moods in direct dialog with the action on the screen.

With releases on Warner Classics, among others, and a steadily growing discography, Myderwyk has carved out an independent position for himself in the European music scene between contemporary classical music and experimental, synth-driven soundscapes.
