In the organizer's words:
Due to an inexplicable mistake by the zoo administration, Gordon the penguin gets a new roommate: Tapir. He's kind of nice, but it soon turns out that Tapir brings chaos into Gordon's previously well-ordered life. He constantly runs out of toilet paper and the living room slowly but surely turns into a jungle. At some point it gets too colorful for Gordon. The penguin makes a decision: Distance and separate living areas. But Tapir doesn't want to give up his newfound friendship just like that.
Sebastian Meschenmoser's picture book deals sensitively and humorously with the acceptance of otherness and the number one family topic: order and disorder. At Theater der Jungen Welt, the story about the possibility of liking everyone for who they are will be staged in a production for puppet theater.
