Join us for the next KIEZKLUB!

Our KIEZKLUB is kicking off again in September: Join us and create a play based on your stories, your ideas, and with you on stage. The theme: GOSSIP CITY.

The city whispers behind closed doors, in countless voices: about closed parks, dark train underpasses, yapping dogs, the latest brawl, noise, and love.

The city moves beyond garden fences. With strollers. With headphones. In wheelchairs. At night. On the way to work. At a protest. Alone or with others.

We’re looking for people between the ages of 16 and 96 who are interested in exploring public spaces and sharing their very own city stories.

Together with theater maker Sophia Maria Keßen and artist Josef Panda, we’re developing a performative city map—somewhere between the theater stage and public space—based on conversations, gossip, memories, and biographical texts.

It’s about Neukölln as a web of stories, bodies, and gender struggles. About utopian visions of a (queer-)feminist city for everyone. About the question: Who does the city belong to? Join us!
