In her works, Canadian artist Darsha Hewitt explores how the raw materials of sound and electrical appliances are used and disposed of by consumer society. In Hünxe, she is devoting herself to discarded loudspeaker boxes and, in collaboration with the Repair Café and citizens of the town, is creating an expansive sound installation in the urban space for the duration of the event. Aram Bartholl's sculpture Choir Of Missed Connections, which is dedicated to the dark side of digital networking, will be presented on the car for the first time. Lütfiye Güzel's current Local Blackout is based on the poetic analysis of a local supplement about Hamminkeln.
