"Ready to go anywhere" is the second album of the Berlin minimal indie folk duo GRATEFUL CAT. 12 songs with guitars, bass and percussion, catchy melodies and lots of harmony vocals between Byrds, Bangles and Beach Boys. The lyrics are reminiscent of Jonathan Richman: humorous observations of everyday life, stories about cats and werewolves and thoughts on the impending end of the world. The album was recorded in a Kreuzberg kitchen and will be released in October 2025 on Waterfall Records.

Fil has been a multi-talented full-blooded entertainer since 1992. With and without the hand puppet shark Sharkey, the political bard disarms his audience in an ironic dialog so unrhymed that the critics are lost for words. Clever political comedy and witty nonsense are the essence of the artist's "Filettantism". In a Gallic village, the self-proclaimed singer/songwriter would be gagged and tied to a tree for his songs.
In Berlin, Fil has been loved by his fans for more than 30 years.
