Here we go again: May 11, 2024 is finally Free Kids Comic Day again!

And this time the day has a very special motto: free children's comics for everyone!

The participating comic publishers are producing comic books especially for this day, which will be available for free in the participating stores.
And the selection will once again be huge: from superheroes and Franco-Belgian adventures to well-known characters from the Disney universe and brand new independent comic characters - you can expect a colorful portfolio of comics, with a total of 21 titles to look forward to!

And even though the focus this time is on children's comics, young readers and those young at heart can of course also dust off the free comics.

At the Dortmund City and State Library (right next door), you can get hold of discarded comics, mangas and graphic novels from the collection for little money from 12 noon to 6 pm. Browsing is expressly permitted!
