When P. T. Barnum suddenly loses his job overnight, he has to get creative. While talking with his wife Charity and his daughters, he comes up with a brilliant idea: Barnum has always had a talent for entertaining people. But since he can’t captivate an audience all on his own, he sets out to find extraordinary people with special abilities and exotic looks. With great determination and even more imagination, Barnum creates unprecedented, spectacular shows that quickly become the talk of the town—but don’t sit well with everyone in a conservative society.
