Green Faith - Glaube und Klimaschutz Workshop

“Generation GreenFaith” is a space for people who want to combine climate justice, spirituality, and collective action. We come together, get to know one another, share our motivation and vision for a more just world—and discover:

What to expect:

Connecting
A space to settle in, get to know one another, and align our goals. You’ll meet other climate activists and can contribute your own motivation and perspective.

From Faith to Action
83% of people worldwide are religious. But how can personal spirituality, faith, and organized religious communities help address the climate crisis? Together, we’ll explore spiritual and theological approaches from various religions.

Global Perspectives
We’ll take a look at the big picture: frontline voices from the Global South, fossil fuels as key drivers of the climate crisis, and Germany’s historical and current responsibilities.

Bring and Share
Bring your talents, ideas, and initiatives to the workshop. Together, we want to highlight our commitment and perhaps even develop initial ideas for collaboration.

And feel free to bring a dish to share for our climate-friendly evening buffet.

The event is part of the project “Integrated Climate Action—Women for a Better Environment” and is being organized in cooperation with the Generation GreenFaith 2026 project.
