GREÑAS from Mainz can't be pigeonholed into any genre.
Garage rock, punk, metal, somehow everything at the same time and yet unmistakably themselves. Their songs are sometimes a slap in the face, sometimes a slow-motion frenzy: raw, loud, honest. Self-deprecating and with all emotions at once. The soundtrack for nights that never want to end, for paths that disappear into the fog and for dreams that are bigger than themselves.
Between rehearsals, parties and chaos, after long nights, staggering into the day or crashing back again, the band balances on a tightrope between everyday life and the utopia they chase in their music. Collective ADHD drives them in all directions: too many ideas, too little plan, everything at once.
This chaos shapes their sound: raw, untamed, unmistakably GREÑAS.
GREÑAS means: no masks, no perfection, just energy and emotion. Anything can happen live.

IDEATIONS

IDEATIONS from Hamburg make their own mixture of post-hardcore, screamo and perhaps a little bit of
a little turn-of-the-millennium alternative. Screamo revival bands such as Touché Amoré, Defeater and La
Dispute were an inspiration, but the Hamburgers have thrown a lot of other influences and ideas
into the pot and cooked up their own post-hardcore soup. Melancholic harmonies
and melodies float above a driving punk rock thunderstorm, broken up by riffs, breakdowns and fragile clean guitars.

accusing, and which always tell a story.

In 2024, the Hamburg-based band released their first EP IDEATIONS under the DIY label Broken Wrist Records,
along with music videos for all five songs on the EP. So there will be even more IDEATIONS in 2026:
more music, more shows in Hamburg, Germany and beyond, and a debut album.
