In a world gone mad it's hard to think right

A drone strikes a dugout, noisy images show the last seconds of a soldier, accompanied by combative phonk music. Cut. A rapper holds his first, own iced tea into the camera and grins. Cut. A big city at night, greenish. The tail of a rocket stands out bright and clear as it crashes into a skyscraper; you can hear the detonation, alarm sirens and excited dogs barking. An established indie pop artist sings his best-known song, the camera pans, and suddenly the Crazy Frog enters the picture, in a good mood and dressed only in his distinctive vest. He puts his arm around the well-known singer and both sing the chorus of their new song together. Cut. Cut. Cut.

Grim104's new album, "No Country For Old Grim", is a crazy, sinister collage of all these images that have influenced both world events and our personal feelings in recent years: With the wars and atrocities of recent years, the relative comfort of the tens has finally dissipated, the sense of political and economic security has eroded in recent years.

And things are also starting to slide in the local area: The "poor but sexy" utopia of Berlin has come to an end and an obscure new class society has emerged - those who order the smoothie and those who deliver the smoothie in a broken-down Mitsubishi Colt. In between all the considerations that you have to make as a thirty-something when you no longer make it into the smoothie class: Or do something real again? Or move away again? Or not?

Grim104 will bring this dance on a knife's edge to the stage from April 2026. In 10 cities, rage and ecstasy will be unleashed in an energetic, raw live show in which melancholic and crazy lights flash up again and again. Anyone who has attended the concerts on previous tours knows that Grim104 will also get their audience going with this album - and anyone who is coming along for the first time can look forward to a memorable evening at the concert.
