The program "Love, Death and the Devil" is based on stories by the South American author Eduardo Galeano. Galeano interweaves fairy tales and myths of the Indians of Latin America with his lively fantasy world to create stories full of bizarreness and sensuality - abysmally witty and beautiful to cry about.

The gunslinger Calamity Jane, who meets the archangel in a brothel, love-hungry magicians, the woman with the vulture wings and, of course, death and the devil populate this wondrous cosmos between heaven and hell.
