Works by Doina Rotaru UA, Rozalie Hirs, Felipe Waller, Enno Poppe, Seung-Won Oh and Tolga Tüzün
The duo, consisting of the Dutch bass clarinettist Fie Schouten and the Austrian cellist Katharina Gross, dedicates itself to a contemporary, international repertoire that treats the instruments gesturally and originally, celebrating low frequencies and sounds close to speech with a particular delight in creaking, humming and rattling in order to cast them in experimental forms.
