Jam Session

Grrrl put your jam on! is a jam session for FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people) No one will be turned away on the basis of appearance. People who are not (yet) sure about their gender are also very welcome.

Driving rhythms, tight riffs: of course there are female* drummers, female* guitarists and female* frontmen who are fighting for their place in the music industry. But the stages at festivals and clubs are still dominated by men. That has to change: We believe that diversity is the future of pop. That's why we want to create a space for networking and promoting female* musicians. Under the name GRRRL PUT YOUR JAM ON!, we regularly invite participants to jam sessions where they can try out their skills on stage, exchange ideas and be inspired. Beginners* and professionals, but also music lovers* who prefer to stay in the audience, are equally welcome.

(The Sternchen offers the opportunity to make visible not only women and men, but also trans* and inter* people and all those social positions that exist beyond male and female).
