"On 22 square meters - design in the small workroom"

A maximum of six participants, one shared room - work is done in the small workroom or on the terrace in a private setting. This creates a calm, friendly working atmosphere - concentrated, direct and supported by the small group.

The course combines traditional mosaic and stone-setting techniques with individual design.

Individual elements are created for garden and wall surfaces - as long-lasting, unique objects of art and creativity with substance and impact.

Course 1 - Basic course in natural stone mosaics for garden design

Garden design with natural stone mosaic - developing and creating your own elements from pebble and natural stone

In this course, you will create your own mosaic design element for the garden or house, which you cannot buy in any DIY store or garden center.

In this course, we will work with natural stone and pebbles using the direct setting method and develop our own shape: Stepping stone, wall surface, free object or element for a barefoot path. There are no limits to creativity here!

The focus is on the combination of design and craftsmanship, i.e. a combination of art, crafts and handicrafts.

• Development of your own design
• Professional construction of stable, durable mosaics & mosaic surfaces
• Realization of an individual workpiece

Result

Your own, finished design element - developed from your own idea and implemented by hand. If you would like to incorporate your own collected pebbles/natural stones into your object, you are welcome to bring your own collection with you.

Frame

• max. 6 participants
• Work in the small workroom (22 m²) or on the terrace
• Duration: 08:00 - 18:00
• 1 hour break
• Coffee, tea, water, juice and snacks are provided

Who

I am Daniel Molnar and a trained stone setter and mosaicist with many years of experience in handcrafted design. I accompany the course participants in the development and realization of their own workpieces - from their own idea to the finished mosaic.

For whom

This course is aimed at anyone who would like to expand their craft or artistic skills or who is interested in education, architecture or arts and crafts.

You do not need any special previous knowledge or manual skills to take part.
