Guildo Horn & Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe

I’ve got some great news for you: It’s Christmas time again! It’s going to be orthopedic! It’s going to be a celebration! Now we have another year to go until Horn’s Christmas, when we’ll once again indulge in our beloved tradition and head toward the Christ Child together with Guildo Horn and his band “Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe” in clubs, halls, and theaters.

And just like every year, when the cotton-candy-sweet Christmas season begins, Master Horn gathers his stockings around him and preparations begin for the Christmas tour—the so-called “belly fat belt” of absolute well-being. Almonds, baked apples, cinnamon stars, and coconut chestnuts are sampled, plenty of mulled punch is warmed up, and as the delightful scent of Christmas fills the air, the musicians heartily pick up their instruments and fill the room with festive sounds.

Traditional Advent songs paired with rock and pop classics featuring “Christmas-ified” lyrics, such as “Everlasting Love” – “Schöne Weihnachtszeit,” “In The Ghetto” – “In der Krippe” (The Little Donkey), “Timewarp,” “So This Is Christmas,” “Unter dem Weihnachtsstern” (Under the Moon of Love), and “Eternal Flame”—all topped off with the best pop hits from the ’70s. A truly divine performance by Guildo Horn and his magnificent band “Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe”: Addi Mollig, the musical director on keys, Kikki Pfeifer on drums, the ever-present Strull and Horst Dieter Hopfen on bass, Lotus Zander on guitar, and the fabulous Mademoiselle Gazelle from Nice on saxophone.

At the end of 2026, the world should treat itself to a real treat once again—and who better to entrust this to than one of the best live entertainers Germany has to offer: the master, Guildo Horn.
