Gut vorbereitet auf Hass und Gewalt

Since 2015, acts of hate and violence against local politicians have been on the rise across Germany. The threat situation becomes even more acute in the run-up to elections. Every attack is also an attack on democracy!

In our online workshop, we will jointly address the phenomenon of hate and violence against local politicians. We will address the following questions:

• What should I know about the phenomenon area of hate and violence against municipal office holders?
• How can I prepare myself? What do I do if I am affected myself?
• How can I counter hate and violence in the context of my area of responsibility?

The aim of the workshop is to provide impulses for protection against hatred and violence and to enable an exchange of ideas. Various prevention options, concrete courses of action for acute cases and support services will be presented.

• Exchange of experiences in small groups
• Exchange and input on options for action in acute cases and other support services
• Space for your questions

Target group:

The workshop is aimed at all people who are involved in local politics or would like to become involved.
