On August 31, the "Gutes Klima Festival", Essen's festival for sustainability and climate protection, will take place for the fourth time on the grounds of Zeche Carl in Essen. From 12 noon to 6 p.m., committed people, artists, organizations, clubs, institutions and associations will once again present a varied programme for children, young people and adults: in addition to a wide range of information on the topics of sustainability and climate protection, there will be lots of things to touch, do and try, to marvel at and discover, to eat and drink, to hear and see, to smell and feel. A festival for all the senses, with activities for young and old.

The festival makes the diverse commitment to sustainability and climate protection in Essen and the region visible and tangible. It inspires and motivates people to address these issues in their own everyday lives. We invite you to spend an enjoyable and exciting day in a relaxed festival atmosphere, with a varied cultural program and delicious food and drink on the wonderful grounds of Zeche Carl.
