• GYALDEM?! That ’s Jamaican Patois and means “a group of women.” It’s pronounced “Gjal dem.”
• Admission?! Pay what you can! If you have more, give more. Solidarity in action! 100% of the admission fees go to the DJs!
• Safe party?! Wealways have safety monitors onsite who you can approach if someone crosses your boundaries. We remove people from the party who behave inappropriately or are racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory in any way. 
• Solidarity fund?! We’ve got one ! At every party, there’s a jar at the bar where we collect money for a woman, non-binary person, or trans person who is personally experiencing racism and is in an acute emergency situation. 💜 Thanks to your solidarity and support, we’ve already been able toprovide concrete help to 9 people and one organization in Ghana. 💜
