The Hafensommer Würzburg music and culture festival brings summer to life and infuses the city on the Main with open-air charm. The festival traditionally opens with the popular Sparda-Bank Classic Night: Even on the very first evening, top-notch orchestral music is sure to give you goosebumps. From the grand staircase, you can take in the unique backdrop—the floating stage in the harbor basin and the vineyards in the distance. The Hafensommer Würzburg took place for the first time in 2007 and has been attracting more and more visitors to the Franconian wine city ever since. The open-air festival’s lineup has already featured stars such as Helge Schneider and Sophie Hunger.
