On this 3-hour historical tour, including 7 beer samples, you will learn about the centuries-old brewing tradition of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Find out the different ways beer is brewed and the influence the brewing process has on the quality and taste of the beer. This beer tasting will take you into a world of aromas and flavors of the best craft beers in the city. Sample seven wonderful old and new beers - an extraordinary array of flavors.

You will first get an overview of the 1000 -year history of the art of brewing in Hamburg. Learn why Hamburg is nicknamed "The Brewery of the Hanseatic League", where the ingredients come from, and taste why Hamburg beer was so superior to other beers in Northern Europe. Afterwards, we'll dive into the city's vibrant craft beer scene together, with ever-changing microbreweries, beer styles and seasonal specialties.
