A satirical cross-reading
Martin Buchholz as the satyr once again has it thick as a fist behind his horns. The satyr is known to be a mythological Satan. One like the Greek devil Pan, who had a hell of a time scaring the good people with evil jokes, putting them in panic fear. In this sense, Buchholz is a Pan-German: half-goat, half-man - at least not a zero-goat.
And Buchholz is really keen to take you on a stroll through human mores as a moral thug. At the end of August, he will be publishing a new book with the title of this program, in which he brushes the mythical stories of humanity against the satirical grain. Subtitled: "Of exhausted and exhausted people". And of course, as always, current political fairy tales and myths are also part of his thought-provoking performance.
Not for the overly sensitive. Buchhausen's motto is still the same: First comes the thinking, then the morals.
