David is entangled in a web of art, children and creativity. As a music manager, he has to fulfill all the demands of the drug-addicted world star Ian White and accompany his tour. But he also wants to look after his four children and simply takes them with him. This is the starting point for dramatic conflicts that lead to absurdly comical situations. David is often only saved by humor and a sense of the astonishing similarity between the needs of artists and children. Nevertheless, escalation lurks.

Hamburg-based music producer and author Johann Scheerer made his debut in 2018 with "Wir sind dann wohl die Angehörigen". In "Play" (Piper), he tells a gripping story about the struggle for balance, in which surprising beauty lies.
