Experience tomorrow's stage stars live!

From August 20 to 25, 2026, the 3rd Hamburg Drama School Festival will take place—at the Hamburger Kammerspiele, the Altonaer Theater, and, for the first time, the Harburger Theater.

Students from Hamburg’s private acting schools will present their final projects before taking their first steps into the professional theater world. A special festival week full of intense theatrical moments, fresh perspectives, and great up-and-coming talent.

At the conclusion of the festival, a jury of experts will once again award the Michael Bogdanov Prize, sponsored by the Friends of the Altonaer Theater and the Hamburg Kammerspiele. The prize honors the outstanding achievements of two emerging actors.
