Hamburger Wege des Mutes - ein Stadtrundgang
In the organizer's words:
On July 19, Greenpeace Hamburg invites you to another unique city tour :
What is courage? Who in Hamburg has stood up for what they believe in? In search of inspiring people and acts of courage—both big and small—we ’ll visit four locations in Hamburg . What can we learn from these encouraging role models? A culture of remembrance is important, but it’s not enough on its own to build a more humane society. – It also takes courage and confidence to take action ourselves.
We’ll follow in the footsteps of bookseller Felix Jud, who kept his provocative name despite the anti-Semitism of the time; musician Fasia, who dedicated her entire life to the struggle for peace and a society based on solidarity; and from the peace initiatives that led to the fall of the Berlin Wall to peace activism today. Our stories show that each of us has an impact on our society. Each of us can work toward greater humanity.
When? Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.
Where? Meeting point: In front of the Jud bookstore, Neuer Wall 13, 20354 Hamburg
End point: Greenpeace exhibition, Hongkong Straße 10, 20457 Hamburg
