With her first book, *Aus der Asche unserer Angst* (*From the Ashes of Our Fear*), activist and creator Hamadan Hasun is now bringing her moving story to the stage. The tour is far more than a traditional book reading: it promises to be an emotional evening exploring flight, identity, empowerment, and the power of sisterhood.

As the daughter of a Yazidi family that was forced to flee to Germany to escape the genocide in Iraq, Hamadan Hasun shares her experiences navigating trauma, the pressure to perform, and the desire to belong. She speaks openly and uncompromisingly about racism, patriarchal structures, and the feeling of never being “enough”—and about how she learned to raise her voice.

With great warmth, humor, and conviction, Hamadan Hasun creates a space for solidarity and courage. At the heart of it all is the power of women who empower one another rather than working against each other.

For years, Hamadan Hasun has used her platform to give visibility to marginalized voices and to openly address social injustices. Her live tour combines personal stories, social issues, and inspiring insights.
