The old king of Denmark has recently died. He leaves behind a country in growing conflict with its Norwegian neighbor, a widow who marries her brother-in-law and, in the midst of all this, his son, the young prince Hamlet. While Hamlet does everything he can to prove his stepfather's murder, the royal couple try to stalk the prince.
