Curator-Led Tour
The curator-led tour of the exhibition“Crafts in Their Luggage”offers in-depth insights into the creation of the exhibition as well as the historical context and personal stories of the artisans featured. The focus is on people who were forced to leave their homes as a result of flight and displacement and who used their craftsmanship to make a fresh start in new places.
David Rojkowski is a sociologist, photographer, and editor of the magazine“Leica Fotografie International(LFI).” He also works as a freelance curator and has been involved in numerous photographic and historical exhibitions, most recently“Afterimages: Changing Perspectives on Hiroshima” and“Fragments ’45: Nazi Violence, Liberations, and Upheavals in Brandenburg.”
