TOGETHER AGAINST GEAS - Hangout and info event

📅 When: May 17, 2026, from 15:00
📍 Where? Inner courtyard of the Ost-Passage-Theater, Konradstr. 27 (next to Aldi)

Fortress Europe is expanding, both at its external borders and internally. German institutions are pulling out all the stops to turn European regulations into law with particular severity. The repressive measures applied not only massively limit the freedom of movement of those affected, but also further restrict social and societal access and scope for action.

We do not accept the progressive disenfranchisement of people on the run and are organizing an information event and hangout on Sunday, 17 May.

There are many opportunities for practical solidarity: get active and informed, for example through the inputs from various groups active in Leipzig!

We refuse to accept the ongoing disenfranchisement of people fleeing their homes and are organizing an information event and hangout on Sunday, May 17.

The German institutions are doing their utmost to transpose the European directives into law with particular rigor. The repressive measures applied not only severely limit the freedom of movement of the persons concerned, but also restrict access to social life and the margins of employment.

We reject the increasing privatization of the rights of people in detention and are organizing an information meeting and a hangout on 17 May.

There are many opportunities for concrete solidarity: mobilize and inform yourself, for example through the contributions of various active groups in Leipzig!
