In Dagmar Manzel's imaginative production, the famous opera becomes a vivid dreamscape in which play and seriousness, fear and poetry are closely intertwined. Dancing trees, mysterious forest creatures and the living witch's cottage of the crunchy witch Rosina Leckermaul turn the forest into a place of wonder.
