HB Hövelmann has been traveling the republic for many years playing rock'n'roll guitar and 'handmade music'. Born in the Lower Rhine region, he moved to Cologne in the 1980s, where he was co-founder and guitarist of the legendary pub rock quartet 'The Hustlers', who performed all over Germany for many years. He then worked for many years as a guitarist for the Boston-born American singer/songwriter Jay Ottaway. He still performs with many different bands and line-ups. As a sideman or soloist - but preferably with his trio 'HB & The Random Players'. True to their motto '...if Rock'n'Roll is not enough!', this small and large band pays homage to the small and large, known and unknown musical gems of this - thank God - never dying musical genre. In doing so, they always like to make excursions into stylistically close musical regions such as blues and soul. Sometimes close to the original, sometimes close to it, but always with humor - please. You simply have to see and hear this man and his men! Your dancing legs will be shaking, that's for sure.
