ince founder and sole remaining original member Andreas Ljung formed the first Headsic line-up in 2009, the vision has remained unchanged: to combine the intensity of melodic death metal with heavy, infectious grooves, dynamic song structures and lyrics that reflect something real and often very personal. From coming to terms with childhood trauma in the live favorite Below Ground(TRIALS, 2012) to the self-empowering anthem In The Blood(The Crowning, 2016), authenticity is a common thread throughout the band's history. Headsic combine all the qualities you would expect from a Swedish metal band - but if you delve deeper, you quickly realize that there is much more to it than that. Powerful riffs, aggressive vocals and uncompromising honesty characterize their sound. Led by a frontman who is not afraid to reveal his innermost scars, the result is music that hits hard, connects deeply and turns every crowd into a raging mosh pit. Headsic have all the qualities you'd expect from a Swedish metal band - but if you delve deeper, you'll soon realize that there's much more to it than that.

Chopped in Half

Chopped in Half is a German death metal band from the Bamberg area that was founded in 2017. They celebrate uncompromising old-school death metal that is heavily influenced by scene greats such as Obituary and Asphyx. The sound is characterized by raw rhythms, aggressive guitar work and guttural vocals.
