Sara and Ann, both around 40 years old, meet at the gym while doing aerobics. One invites them to a feminist stand-up comedy show in a pub, the other tells them about her colleague's assaults at work. And suddenly a relationship develops between everyday life and self-optimization. Sara and Ann explore togetherness from friendship to situationship to heartship and ask themselves: "Why can't French kisses be women's loving, tender response to bro-like pats on the back?" The multi-award-winning playwright Caren Jeß (Mülheim Drama Prize 2023, among others) has written a play about loving and angry women and given them a microphone through which they give free rein to their anger and tenderness.
