Heavysaurus - Kaugummi ist mega! Tour 2023

The beginnings of Heavysaurus lie in Finland, where the five-year-old son of drummer Mirka Rantanen of the band Thunderstone began to be interested in hard music by bands like Kiss, Guns N' Roses and Metallica. To give these sounds a child-friendly setting and appropriate lyrics, Rantanen started a new band in 2009 and created the legend of the five prehistoric giants who had been hidden underground for millions of years and have now hatched with the help of magic witches - as the metal dinos "Mr. Heavysaurus" (vocals), "Riffi Raffi" (guitar), "Komppi Momppi" (drums) and the dragon girl "Milli Pilli" (keyboards).

The characters and their story inspire the kids, the songs with titles like "Dinosauri Yeah" deal with topics that move little rockers and dino fans: treasure hunts by message in a bottle, huge bubbles of chewing gum and the encouraging message that everyone is cool just the way they are. They tell of the wild life of dinos and the joy of loud rock.

This concept combines music, learning, play and movement and now extends from recordings, merchandise and mobile games to a 90-minute film - to collect, play and, above all, rock along.

That's why you'll soon be hearing in many children's rooms: "Mom, that's Heavysaurus! It must be so loud!
