In the organizer's words:
HEIM-WEG-FREMD-WEG" is a trilingual graphic novel (Chinese, German, English) based on my personal experiences between Xi'an and Berlin.
During my years abroad, I realized that "home" is not a fixed place, but a fluid relationship. Even the return to the hometown becomes an encounter with the foreign.
The project captures this state between cultures through drawings and notes. It is a journey through identity, memory and belonging.
If we are constantly moving on - where is our home?
