In contrast to earlier times, we now know many heroines, female role models, great women - not least because some of them are now being "rediscovered" and brought out of the undeserved sidelines into the public eye.

They have always existed! They have just been ignored and forgotten by historiography. But what about the little heroines, the everyday ones? What are their heroic deeds, where do they achieve great things? Where do they draw their strength from to make a difference and inspire people?

The Kunstverein Unna e.V. is exploring this question and asked artists from Unna and all over Germany for their contributions.

We cordially invite you to the vernissage on November 8 at 7:30 pm. The introductory lecture will be given by Susanne Abeck, historian.

On November 17, we are organizing a reading with Ms. Abeck followed by a storytelling café in the exhibition.

Final opening on December 1 with coffee and cake from 2 to 5 pm.
