Hellfire - A Tribute to AC/DC

In the organizer's words:

AC/DC is rock'n'roll at its hardest. Founded in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, the band is one of the pioneers of hard rock. They coped with the early death of their frontman Bon Scott and managed to become the biggest rock band on the planet with his successor Brian Johnson.

The cult band has also been around in Lower Saxony since May 2004, when Marco Wismer from Norstemmen founded "Hellfire" - a tribute band that has now achieved a similar status, at least regionally, as the energetic original.

For more than a decade, "Hellfire" has stood for a gigantic and authentic hell show with cannons, bells and walls of Marshall amplifiers, as well as faithful interpretations of the legendary rock'n'roll band AC/DC, in which lead guitarist Marco Wismer sweeps across the stage like a dervish in his school uniform a'la Angus Young and "Reibeisenröhre" Ulli Dürkop truly sings his heart out.

As the support act, the rockabilly band "O-Jacks" set the right operating temperature before the main act rocked the hall with songs such as "Are You Ready?", "Thunderstruck", "Back In Black", "Highway To Hell" and "Let There Be Rock". In front of their home crowd, "Hellfire" thrills over 2500 spectators every year in the Arena Hildesheim! In fall 2020, they will finally bring their spectacle to our region!
