Hellsongs - The Return of the Hellsingers pt3

How incredibly fast time flies. Hellsongs played their first live shows more than twenty years ago. It was 2004, "Dragostea din tei" was the summer hit of the year and the fascists were not yet a political problem when they played their easy-listening interpretations of the roughest metal smashers of the day for their friends to dance to in a small barn just outside Gothenburg. This refreshing clash of styles fitted in with the carefree times, as acts like Scala & The Kolacny Brothers or Nouvelle Vague also brought some light into the musical darkness in a similar way to Hellsongs.

In 2013, Hellsongs released "These are evil times", their last album for the time being, before running out of steam and looking for meaning in life in their private lives. But after the corona break at the latest, their spirits returned. Much of their lives had been reorganized, and their longing for live shows combined with the prospect of going on tour with the Bully like they used to, motivated them to make a brilliant comeback. In the fall of 2024, after more than ten years of radio silence, they released "The Return of the Hellsingers" full of new and older songs, which mainly revolve around the themes of love and cohesion, and with which they now also invite you to sing and dance and, above all, laugh together live.
